Textos para a Prova Bimestral – Turmas do 3º Ano

Textos para a Prova Bimestral – Turmas do 3º Ano

Text 01:
Never regret
If it's good,
It's wonderful.
If it's not, it's experience.

Text 02:

Regrets like theses can become a constant reminder of “what could have been”.

But it doesn't have to be that way. Regrets can also enlighten and be an incentive for new

opportunity. Here's how that might happen:

. Conquer your negative emotions;

. Use your regrets to motivate yourself to take a different action.

. Antecipate future regrets before you make major decisions.

. Use regrets to learn more about what's important to you.

Make your 'woulda, coulda, shouldas' works for you.”

Text 03:

Life: It’s about maximizing opportunities and minimizing regrets. It’s about accepting our

destined fate and appreciating the moments. It’s about taking chances and learning from

mistakes.

In a time when you have absolutely nothing to lose (in the grander scheme of things) and no

responsibilities but to take care of yourself, why aren’t you going out and exploring the

 world?

Text 04: REGRETS IN LIFE

We are all busy. Life happens. There’s always something to distract us from getting around to certain things we know we should do. Soccer practice. Work. Home renovations. Getting that next big promotion. And with the explosion of always-on smartphones and tablets delivering a fire hose of urgent emails, not to mention Twitter and Facebook, in recent years, things have only gotten busier.
In the backs of our minds, we know we’re neglecting some stuff we should do. But

we never get around to it. Then, something happens. A good friend or loved one –

maybe close to us in age – drops dead unexpectedly.

We begin to think about what our biggest regrets would be

if we were suddenly sitting on our death bed.

Dwell on, think about: shoulda, coulda, woulda.

Next, do your research on your chosen job - make sure you know as much as you can about what the job's really like and if it's the right job for you.
Finally, get some advice from a professional - there might be other options or funding schemes open to you that you didn't know about. And it always helps to have someone impartial as a sounding board to check if you're doing the right thing.
