There were no signs of genius in Albert Einstein as a child. He was so late in learning to talk that his parents were worried about him, and at school he wasn’t a bright boy.

When he heard of the atomic destruction of Hiroshima in 1940, Einstein said, “If inly I had known about it, I would have become a watchmaker.”
